About the role

As a outbound Team Leader (PM), you will be key in supporting our management team to deliver best in class warehousing operations. You will support your team to ensure we continuously exceed our customer expectations and key deliverables. The role will report into the First Line Manager. The working hours for the PM shift are 1400 - 2200hrs, however flexibility will be required from time to time to support the business needs.

  • Have a good understanding of customer expectations and deliverables with an awareness of the impact of failure/cost of poor quality
  • Have a continuous improvement mindset
  • Be able to work proficiently with WMS systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
  • Good attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensure all health and safety requirements are met to the highest standards
  • Support the delivery of operational and customer KPIs working to the overall plan
  • Support the team by continuously reviewing ways to aid efficiency, add value and reduce costs as well as supporting on continuous improvement initiatives
  • Implement best practice warehousing principles, policies, and processes
  • Support all people processes, including performance management
  • Support the management team in managing labour resource effectively to support customer delivery requirements
  • Cover other managerial duties such as locking up the building safely and covering the FLM during periods of absence

    Working hours total 37.5 hours per week with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break.
